Serdang, 1 April 2026 - Pusat Pertanian Putra (PPP) received a visit from a delegation of IIUM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. on April 1^st  2026.   The visit was led by Dato’ Ahmad Nadzarudin Abdul Razak, Group Chief Executive Officer of IIUM Holdings Sdn. Bhd., accompanied by members of the company’s management team.

The delegation was received by the Director of Pusat Pertanian Putra, Prof. Ts. Dr. Siti Zaharah binti Sakimin, together with PPP staff.  The purpose of the visit was to gain exposure and exchange insights on land use management and strategic planning for agricultural development.

Throughout the visit, the delegation was briefed on PPP’s approach in managing and optimising agricultural land in alignment with the university’s role as a centre for teaching, research, and services.  The sharing session also emphasised aspects of farm operations, including activity planning, resource management, and the implementation of sustainable and high-impact agricultural models.

The visit continued with a site tour starting at the plant nursery and ornamental section, followed by a visit to the PPP Sales Centre (Putra Mart). The delegation was then brought to Ladang Bersepadu Puchong to observe the farm’s operations and management practices firsthand. During the visit, PPP also presented the development planning of Ladang Puchong and guided the delegation through the hatchery facilities and fish ponds.

This visit is expected to benefit both parties by strengthening strategic collaboration and further enhancing knowledge sharing in the areas of agriculture and land resource management.
