Do UPM provides horse riding lessons?

UPM through Benua Equestrian Stable (BEST) provides horse riding classes at the UPM Serdang campus. For more information, please contact the UPM representative, Mr. Mohd Tarmizi bin Ishak 011-10144084

Can I use the facilities at Bukit Ekspo for my departments family day?

Facilities at Bukit Ekspo can be used by internal and external campus communities at anytime subjected to approval of the Director or his representative.

Where can I visit to learn more on freshwater fish culture?

Freshwater fish culture can be visited at PPP Puchong Farm Division. Fish and prawn fries are also produced by this Division with the coorporation of the Faculty of Agriculture. For further information, please refer to Puchong Farm Division website.

I would like to use the machinery or truck facility for my research project. Does PPP provide the rental service?

Yes, PPP provides various rental services for tractors, implements, machinery, and lorry. You can check the price and rental procedure with the Head of Service, Training & Farm Mechanization Section

My company is interested in filming at the UPM pine area. Who can I contact?

Research

I'm interested in doing research at the Putra Agriculture Centre. Who should I deal with?

Please find the Research Services Form at the Teaching, Research, Training and Profesional Services Section located at the PPP Administrative Office, for further action.

Teaching, Training , Short Course and Visit

Where can I get information regarding short-term courses offered by PPP?

For now, PPP only organizes courses for the requirements of the G/GV scheme at UPM. However, any course application by an external agency or the need for expertise involving the PPP staff group can be contacted directly through the PPP Director's Office.

My department is keen to visit UPM. To whom do I write to?

The public are welcomed to visit to our green campus. Please contact UPM Corporate Strategy and Communications Office for your visit arrangement. However if you are only interested in visiting Putra Agriculture Centre, please contact directly to our Director Office for assistance.

I am a lecturer in one of the faculties at UPM and am interested in conducting a practical for my students at Ladang PPP. What is the application procedure I need to follow?

Prof./Associate Prof/Dr/ Sir/Madam need to complete the PU/PS/BR10/AJR Teaching Service Application Form and send it to the Training, Teaching, Research and Professional Services Section for further action

PPP and UPM Farm Product

Where can be I buy vegetables and fruit seedlings such as durian or rambutan?

Fruit seedlings can be purchased at the Marketing Production and Agricultural Products Division. For vegetables, fruits and other PPP agricultural products can be purchased at Putra Mart. Open Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), 8.30am to 2.30pm.
