The Re-assessment of MyGAP Certification for Livestock Division, Putra Agriculture Center

Serdang, 15^th August 2022 – The Livestock Division, Putra Agriculture Center has recently being re-assessed for the renewal of MyGAP Certification on the 15^th of August 2022.

Assessment auditors from Department of Veterinary Services Malaysia (DVS), Mr. Afandi bin Abu Bakar and Mrs. Nurul Aina binti Abdullah were involved in this re-assessment activity. The inspections were consisted of farm inspection (farm and paddock areas) and MyGAP related documentations and records.

The Livestock Division has successfully maintained the MyGAP Certification in this re-assesment activity without any non-compliance issues raised by the auditors.

The MyGAP Certification for Ladang 16 has been obtained since 2014 and need to be renewed every two or three years depending on the MyGAP audit. The MyGAP certificate that was obtained from the Ministry of Agrobased and Food Industries (MAFI) will be expiring on the 31^st of December 2023 with a certificate number of T525 encompassing the beef and dairy cattle, goat and deer.

Other than that, the Livestock Division has been preparing for the audit by managing the aspects of livestock health, farm cleanliness, biosecurity and updating the related records and documentations.
