Serdang, 22 August 2024: Putra Agriculture Centre made history with outstanding success by securing four major category victories and two special awards at the SEMARAK MERDEKA 2024 event, organized by the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Center (PKKSSAAS) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This achievement is a proud milestone and demonstrates the strong spirit of determination embodying the meaning of independence.

The remarkable achievements are:

• Runner-up for Best Overall PTJ
• Third Place in the Inter-PTJ Choir Competition
• Best Conductor Award
• Third Place in the Inter-PTJ Jalur Gemilang Competition
• Best Content Award
• Top 20 in SEMARAK MERDEKA Program Participation

With a burning patriotic spirit, Putra Agriculture Centre has proven its unwavering commitment and dedication to the success of this program. This victory not only signifies achievement but also serves as an inspiration to continue striving for the dignity and advancement of the university and the nation. Special thanks are extended to Associate Professor Dr. Siti Zaharah Sakimin, Ts. Dr. Ahmad Suhaizi, and the PPP Management Team for their solid support given to all staff involved in this competition.
