1. INTRODUCTION

The Cash Crops Section is one of the 5 sections under the Planting Division, Putra Agriculture Center (PAC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This section is better known as the Shared Farm Section where the area is planted with various cash crops or food crops. This area covers an area of 10.2 hectares (25.21 acres) in total. The Shared Farm area has a flat terrain and a slight slope leading to the adjacent reservoir pond. Has fertile soil and is suitable for a variety of crops. This area is supplied with an irrigation system (type of rain gun) that can supply water to plants every day.
