The Farm Engineering Division (BKL) has an area of ​​1.64 hectares with a staff strength of 20 people providing services to the Responsibility Center, University Putra Malaysia and the public as needed. Services provided by BKL as follows:
Co-ordinate development activities related to civil, mechanical and electrical engineering.
Provide vehicle services, farming tools and agricultural machinery.
Provide engineering training to students.
Provide engineering training to staff.
Conducting fabrication training
Engineering advisory services.
Maintain and repair vehicles, agricultural machinery, motorcycles, small machines and farming tools
Maintain and repair the building's infrastructure facilities.
Provide repair and maintenance services for irrigation and drainage systems.
Quality objective
The Farm Engineering Division is responsible for three main procedures which are:
Repair and maintenance procedures for motorcycles, small machines, vehicles, agricultural machinery, farming tools, irrigation systems and building infrastructure.
Periodic maintenance procedures for motorcycles, vehicles, agricultural machinery, shade houses, electrical equipment, air conditioners and fire extinguishers.
The use of vehicle service application forms, agricultural machinery and damage complaints
BKL is responsible for providing 80% of vehicle and agricultural machinery service facilities, 100% of vehicle maintenance, agricultural machinery, air conditioners and fire extinguishers must be carried out according to the set schedule and 80% of internal damaged complaints must be resolved.
